Client Relationship Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Manager of Client Relationship at the Investments & Wealth Institute is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients and institutional partners. This role is central to delivering exceptional client experience, supporting the growth of corporate clients of the Institute’s educational programs, certifications, and sponsorships and assisting in securing client commitments. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, adept at managing client needs, detail oriented, and committed to fostering long-term partnerships aligned with the mission of advancing knowledge and professionalism in the investment and wealth management industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Agreements & Reporting:
  • Create and edit documentation including agreements and invoices to convert client commitments into secured sales for the Institute as it relates to certifications, education, sponsorships and foundation sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, account status, and opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot) system.
  • Track changes and edit agreements based on client needs and in coordination with the Chief Legal Officer of the Institute. 
  • Assist the Director of Client Relationship Management with providing reports and updates on renewal sales activities, client engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Update sales specific reporting documents as needed in coordination with the Sales Enablement Associate Director.   
Client Engagement and Benefits Support:
  • This position confirms fulfillment of contracted benefits and services in a high-quality manner in order that the sales team may meet or exceed the Institute’s overall sales targets as defined each year in the Institute’s operations plan.   
  • Work closely with the conferences, marketing, education, and certification teams to align client engagement strategies.
  • Proactively address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Provide on-site or virtual client support during events as needed.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to inform the Institute’s service delivery and program development.
  • Work with the Director Client Relationship Management to coordinate and secure renewals of corporate partnerships and clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Generate and edit proposals, complete renewal agreements, secure rules and regulations documents, generate invoices, and follow-up on payments.
  • Oversee logistics related to fulfillment of benefits onsite at IWI events and within other operations.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal relationship building skills, strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, exceptional PDF creation and editing skills. 
  • Qualified candidates will have the ability to uncover client needs through probing and discovery questions.
  • Work within AMS, CRM/HubSpot and other databases as needed to develop streamlined processes and track client progress in sales funnels.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments on the entire sales process from renewal to agreement creation to fulfillment of the rights and benefits.
  • Maintain and manage sales specific documents, such as contracts, presentations, marketing collateral. 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or a minimum of 3 years sales and/or account management experience.
  • Proven track record supporting the sales function.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and project management skills
  • Intermediate skills in Office 365 and Adobe Software, specifically power point, excel, and word.
  • Ability to work well with other Institute staff and support departments
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot and/or other CRMs or AMS.
  • Tenacious and results oriented.
  • Enjoys building a strong rapport with customers and delivering exceptional service
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Superb interpersonal relationship building skills and ability to uncover client needs through probing and discovery questions
  • Consistent at capturing and documenting customer information (HubSpot and other databases/CRMs as needed).
  • Attention to detail and deadline oriented
  • Intellectually curious, pro-active, and competitive nature
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to travel from time to time up to 6 times per year
  • Ability to represent the high ideals of the Institute at trade shows and industry events

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Client Relationship Management
IWI has a hybrid workplace in Greenwood Village, CO. In-office expectation is 1-3 days per week. 
Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus and is dependent on experience.
